General Description

Britekix are LED shoes for children and adults. They illuminate 360 degrees around the sole of the shoe making you more visible in the dark.

Britekix are powered by a small replaceable battery. The bright LEDS are controlled by an on/off switch. These shoes do not blink when you walk, the lights stay on until you turn them off.

They are not only cool and fun, they can help keep you and your children safe.

Our funding goal of $105,000 is for the manufacturer's minimum order quantity, mold fees, production, and shipping costs.

The very first pair of Britekix will go to the inspiration for this project. She survived being struck by a vehicle walking to the school bus in the dark.

Color choices

Shoe color choices will be black or white. LED colors will be red, pink, blue or green.

Q:  How do I choose what colors I want?

     a: Just email Stacy at Stacy@britekix.com and let her know which color shoe you want with which color lights.

Q: What happens if you don't reach your funding goal?  Do I get my money back?

     a:If the funding goal is not met your credit card will not be charged.

Q: Why does the price increase as the size increases?

     a: A bigger shoe means more lights, not to mention more material needed for the entire shoe itself.  There is also a higher cost for shipping as the larger the shoe becomes, it gets slightly heavier.

Q: Okay, so I pledged my money for my pair of Britekix, when am I going to get them?

     a: Our goal is to start shipping in November - just in time for the holidays!

Q: What if it rains?

     a:  The lights and components will be completely safe!  Now, that's not to say your feet won't get wet as they would in a regular shoe.  Just don't go swimming in them or wash in your washing machine.

Q: Why don't you offer them in half sizes?

     a: Each mold is very expensive.  A mold has to be opened for every size we create.  Therefore, we cannot order as many as we would like at this moment.  But hang in there!  We are sure that we will sell out our first order very quickly thus allowing us to place a second shipment with half sizes included. 

Q: What if my Britekix don't fit?

     a: Just pay for shipping and we will gladly exchange them for a different size.

Q: I don't live in the United States, but I think these shoes are really cool and I want them!  Can I get a pair?

     a: Absolutely!  As with any international shipping, the cost will be a bit higher.
