Hello!
Thank you to those who have contributed. I must say, up until that first dollar I was really nervous. Then, the most amazing thing happened. After the first backer pledged $1.00 I felt the biggest wait off my shoulders. I thought, if this one person who just pledged $1.00 believes in BRINK, well then it was all worth it.
Thank you to everyone that has pledged so far. What a nice community to be involved with and to watch grow. Its an amazing feeling anytime a pedge comes though, its like a sprinkling of hope.
The magazine just scored a major kudos by being voted by readers of thedailycity.com as Best Magazine in Orlando! To be nominated was mind-blowing enough, but to win and not be backed by an investor (like the other nominees), wow, what a feeling!

Hi! My name is Kyle Menard and I started BRINK Magazine. BRINK was started out of my need for something more. It started as a passion project and grew so much bigger than I ever could have imagined. So many wonderful things have happened, like Tyra Banks checking out the magazine to giving so many voices a platform and place to be featured. I love what i do and only want to take it further.
I grew up in a small town outside Cape Cod and when I turned 20 I moved to Florida. I moved around Florida quite a bit, but finally settled in Orlando. I view Orlando as growing city. Its a place where I can visually see culture being created from nothing and people that want more. I graduated college in 2009 (late start!) from Rollins in nearby city, Winter Park. I am very ambitious, competitive and love to be adventurous.
