In all the excitement
Goodness! Thanks again everybody who has already pledged! We're now 60% of the way there with more than half of our time left! The best way to make sure that we meet our goal is to tell friends and family members about us. We'd love to reach as many people as possible and getting out of our immediate network would help us to do that. So please feel free to talk about us and what we're doing! We'll really appreciate it and feel free to pass our Kickstarter along: http://kck.st/brinedine
In all the excitement of getting things rolling here we forgot to announce explicitly that our sauerkraut comes in flavors! Some of you know this since the reward for a jar of kraut says you pick the flavor. How can you pick if we don't tell you what they are, though?
We of course have plain, both red and white. We can't ignore the classics so we will be churning out batches of traditional sauerkraut.
But we also have some twists!
There is mustard-caraway which is the obvious addition to a reuben.
Sesame-ginger is perfect in an Asian dish where you may use another pickled vegetable such as mustard greens or kim-chi (which we will also be making!).
Our spicy kraut is made with Naga Jolokia peppers, one of the hottest peppers in the world! Bill and Chris have loved eating this on pizza with Greek Yoghurt.
And finally we have an applewood-smoked kraut which is great with BBQ.
So please! Choose your flavor and continue to spread the word!
yours,
