We are purchasing a short bus to convert to run on recycled vegetable oil so that we can tour the country!

A SHORT BUS TO RUN ON USED VEGGIE OIL

If you don't have time to watch the video you probably don't have much time to read. So I'll make it brief. 

My musical project, Briar Rabbit, has been doing very well in Chicago in the 4 months since it's release. Briar Rabbit has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, The Red Eye, Taste of Chicago, numerous Chicago music blogs and just signed with local management Wine from the moon. In an effort to keep that momentum going, I am raising money for transportation so we can play more shows and tour the midwest/US. It's extremely expensive to play full band shows and we've have had to turn down some cool opportunities. Our solution is a Short School Bus that we will convert to run on vegetable oil. It fullfils our responsibility to the environment and makes touring more financially feasible. So be a part of something cool and help me see how far we can take this musical career. 

You can donate any amount of money you'd like. Every dollar counts.

How will the money be spent? 

Used Short bus: about $4000. Since it's used it's hard to pin down one. 

Insurance/registration/plates/etc: $400

Repainting (It's illegal to leave it yellow if you're not a teacher): $100 

Remodeling: $1000 (Repainting, installing cages so gear doesn't move around, Removing seats, fixing parts) 

Veggie oil Conversion Kit plus installation: $5,600

Driving over to ohio to get it installed: $150 (Diesel is expensive)  

My Promises: 

-I will keep everyone up to date on the conversion (Think "Pimp My Ride" with less experience).

-Provide an account of where your money was spent.

-Release a new song demo for every $1000 that has been donated to the people who have donated.
