About this project
Recently, life inspired me to make an album, so I called some good friends and scheduled a rehearsal. Lightning struck and we stumbled on a sound that is magic. Without backing, I decided to go for it. Now, with songs ready, I am asking for your support in making my first full length solo album.
Kickstarter is a platform that allows you to financially support artists and creators of all kinds and receive cool incentives. Money pledged will be used to pay for musicians, recording, mixing, mastering, art and duplication.
However - I DO NOT RECEIVE ANY FUNDS PLEDGED UNLESS MY GOAL IS MET - by my preselected date "Feb 22nd" which is fast approaching.

My name is Brian McSweeney. I grew up in Huntington, West Virginia.
Whether it was learning how to harmonize by listening to Neil Diamond in the back of my Dad’s Mustang, or banging on a Mickey Mouse drum set - I have been working out music, literally, as long as I can remember. My parents were in a Southern Gospel quartet and had me singing on stages and in recording studios when I was 2 years old.
Music is what I do to feel okay about being a person in the world.
I have written, recorded and performed music with many artists over the years - my two most notable endeavors were rock bands called “Seven Day Jesus” and “MATTHEW”.
I like to learn, I am in love with love - and my favorite food is salmon.
