About this project

Little Brass Bird has been an active participant in Chicago arts and crafts shows for the past few years. After planning for over two years, we are finally bringing our handmade plush toys to life in this animated show. However, we need financial help in getting this project running full speed!!

The story revolves around our line of plush toy characters. Robin and Rhodrick are new owners of an old clock shop in the middle of a growing city. As coffee shops fuel towering corporations and modernist buildings erect in record numbers, these two entrepreneurs are fighting harder than ever to keep their humble store from going under.

Their lives become even more troublesome after they stumble upon a forgotten room built by the last owners. Lost within a pile of mysterious broken old cukoo clocks lie magical creatures, distortions of reality and time bending adventures.

The show will also FEATURE music and works from underground artists and bands from all over Chicago and beyond. We're building an online directory of all participating bands affiliated with the Little Brass Bird project. This directory will include band photos, bios, samples etc.

Working with this network of collaborative talents will give unique exposure to their work and produce a show with extremely diverse potential. All characters, sets and props are hand crafted by yours truly.

HELP US MAKE THIS SHOW A REALITY AND SHED LIGHT ONTO THE MANY UNKOWN VIRTUOSOS WHO'S VOICES DESERVE TO BE HEARD!!!!

THIS PROJECT WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US!

Little Brass Bird

Connected as Rhodrick Magsino (291 friends)

We (Robin & Rhodrick) first met while working at a designer plush studio in Chicago. We started dating and years later, we developed a company of our own which we are still trying to get off the ground. Robin is an art graduate from the School of the Art Institute Chicago and currently work at a no-kill animal shelter. Rhodrick graduated from Columbia College with an audio arts degree and currently works as a part-time and freelance audio engineer. We both, however, spend the rest of our time piecing together the Little Brass Bird show which will encompass the collaboration from many local musicians and artists. As hard working starving artists, we want to create a show for people sharing a similar life style.:)
