Overdue Status Update!
Hello, Folks,
It’s time for me to submit an overdue status report. I’m sorry that I’ve been quiet for the past several weeks.
First and foremost: we are still on track to have the first run of Puzzle Me! produced and ready to send to each of you by the end of June. If that changes, I will let you know immediately.
Now one of the reasons I haven’t posted an update in a while is because the Brainstormers team has been very busy with gaming conventions lately. The big one was the Game Developer’s Conference in early March, which had our team busy all throughout February. Brainstormers shared booth space with other Chilean game developers, which was especially exciting because this was the first year that the Chilean game developer’s association – VG Chile – had an Expo presence at GDC. Not a lot of people know about the game industry in Chile, and at GDC we took a big step in changing that!
Here’s a picture of Pablo proudly representing his country while being interviewed by a tv crew.

Immediately after GDC, I traveled to Las Vegas to promote Puzzle Me! at the Game Manufacturer's Association trade show, or GAMA. I’ve got pictures to share from that trip - including pictures with one of our super-awesome and super-supportive backers, Stephanie Bryant - but I’ll post those in a separate update.
In addition to the traveling and conferences, another reason I’ve been quiet lately is because of a publishing deal I was trying to secure for Puzzle Me. I won’t go into all of the details; what I will say is that a large North American company approached us with interest in publishing Puzzle Me, which as you can imagine struck us as both surprising and extremely exciting. Unfortunately, the deal fell through in the end. Although disappointing, we have no sour feelings with that company, and the fact that they showed interest in us at all was more proof of how fun Puzzle Me! is.
The self-publishing route continues to be our most realistic option, but that isn’t stopping us from showing Puzzle Me to other publishers. You never know unless you try, right?
I am not planning to travel again for the next month or so - at least not as crazily as I have been from January through March. So I will be updating you more regularly on Puzzle Me’s progress.
Take care, folks! Thank you for your continued support!
- Richard

https://www.thegamecrafter.com/ Not sure if you've checked these guys out, but they're currently my go-to group for if (when) my board game gets published. I don't know if they can help you out but it wouldn't hurt to share! Best of wishes. :)

Fun fact: Pablo - in addition to being Puzzle Me's designer, and in addition to being a founder and the president of Brainstormers - is also the president of VG Chile. The guy's a machine! I'll ask him to answer your question, Ryan.

That's great and I'm happy to hear things are still on track! Where can I find more information about VG Chile and the other games featured?
