About this project
HAYAKU trailer: http://vimeo.com/12112529
Our world is filled with great beauty and adventure around every corner. For most of us our fast paced lifestyle makes it difficult to witness the majesty that is all around us. Hayaku is a visual masterpiece that takes us though the wonders of Japan in a whole new light. A whole new way of seeing. Through it we will explore culture, geography, architecture, humanity and time itself.
HAYAKU tells the story with a mixture of cameras and techniques, the main one being timelapse. Through timelapse we see the things that we normally don’t have the time to see. It helps us realize the beauty that is happening all around us everyday.
Japan is my most favorite place in the entire world. During the summer of 2009 I traveled around Japan shooting the imagery that has made up what I now consider a trailer for the up-coming feature length film. This "trailer" of HAYAKU received more than 250,000 views in its first month on VIMEO. The views and praise keeps pouring in. http://vimeo.com/12112529
My goal is to raise enough money to complete the film. I will use the money to fund three trips to Japan to shoot the rest of the film.
