The Project: Experimental film from brothers Reuben Spriggs and Vaughn Joe. The title was recently changed from "Me, You, It & Them" to "Breaks-Fast".

The Plot: Ghetto slacker Damarius Johnson just wanted to enjoy a game of weed and video games with his best friend Bone, but he gets caught knee-deep in the middle of an extraterrestrial investigation when he discovers a creature in bondage in his apartment. His discovery could have grave consequences...

The Directors: Vaughn recently graduated from the Art Institute in NYC with a degree in digital film making, while Reuben has written several books available on amazon.com. They conceived the idea and wrote the script for the short film in 2 days.

The Main Character: Ralph "Gone" Johnson is a rapper/actor. He has starred in several plays as a student and is now recording his debut album to be released independently.

Cast/Crew: The crew will be classmates of Vaughn Joe and the remaining supporting cast will consist of actors who have frequently worked with Reuben and Vaughn on projects.

Funding: The funding will primarily be used for food and transportation for the cast and crew. Also we need to buy an alien mask which goes for $49.99 and a tripod dolly for $39.99. The rest of the remaining funds will go towards social media promotion and short film festival entry fees.

Our Goal: We want to showcase our directing style for our backers. We are developing other scripts, but depending on the reaction from this film we may make this into a full-feature length.
