Hi Everyone,

The Colorado Brazil Fest took place over the weekend, and it was a tremendous success by any measure. Our workshop attendance was wonderful, and our evening performances rocked. Our finale show, at the Boulder Theater, drew a crowd of 400 who cheered for encores. We'll be sending out some links to photos and video highlights soon.

Once again, we could not have presented our festival without your help, and we are very grateful to you. We look forward to presenting the festival again next year, with even more great workshops and performances devoted to the music and culture of Brazil.

Our Kickstarter.com campaign officially ended last night, and it has been a tremendous success, thanks to you! We have exceeded our original goal of $3000 by 41.3%, for a final amount of $4240! Thanks to you, we will be renting performance spaces, hiring instructors, and promoting this event to make it a blast!

We could not have exceeded our goal without your generous financial support or without your having spread the word to others. Thank you very much for your help and generosity. We look forward to seeing you at the festival!

We have also started 2 new pledge levels just for workshops-- pledge $25 for 2 workshops, or pledge $35 for 3 workshops. Check out the deals here! 

The workshops will include an variety of samba dancing styles such as samba no pé, samba reggae, samba de gafieira, as well as orixás and forró dance. We will also feature samba and pagode music workshops, a capoeira workshop, and bateria (samba drumming) workshops for all ages. Come join the fun, and learn some new things!
