Borrowed Time is a docu-drama that puts organ donors and recipients in contact with one another. The show is hosted by Damon Gault who is himself the recipient of a heart transplant.
Each episode captures the heartache, gratitude and life transforming stories resulting from an organ donation. Damon interviews both recipients and donor families, prying deeper into their narrative, discovering what events led the person to confront the brutal reality of a failing organ.

He gives a brief background on the history of organ donation as well as medical discoveries and breakthroughs of recent years. Damon will interview cutting edge medical specialists from across the nation and explore the latest technological advancements.

Damon Gault is uniquely qualified to host the show for obvious reasons. But Damon’s real strength is his friendly and direct style. A heart transplant recipient who has stared death in the face, he is a man who truly appreciates what borrowed time means The show may tackle controversial subjects such as stem cell research and black market organ sales. The show will also establish how a person is determined to be eligible for candidacy. The show will also follow transplant stories that don’t go well.
