$35,000 Unlocks Dusty Paige as a Babes Choice!
We're with you, Backers!
For all our Bombardiers, after reviewing the Bombshell Kickstarter project, we have decided to restructure the Stretch Goals in order to prioritize unlocking single Babe choices. We feel this is in the best interest of all our backers within the active time of the project, so all levels will have an adequate selection to choose from as soon as possible. So as of $35,000, Dusty Paige has been unlocked!
Target Acquired
As a bonus, all Bomb Kits will included Bombshell Relic #1, Terri the Steampunk Cowgirl at this time as well!
Vivian Gale is now our target for $40,000. We will also add a FREE Squidman sidekick to the BOMB KIT at that time. Mat Dixon's 'Bug Spray' will be the $45,000 target. We will be posting more Babe targets soon.
We still plan on adding the Reinforcements after the Babe choices have been provided. We also plan to submit a list of the Reinforcements for you, our backers, to vote upon to determine the order of their release.
We want you to know we appreciate all your support! Hopefully we can do the best we can to get you the Babes that you want.

I had so much fun researching that drawing; the sheer level of "anything goes" engineering from that time period is amazing.

@talin if you click 'view previous comments', also kickstarter wised up and now allows you to click a profile to see ALL that person's comments.
I do recall hearing that name carmagnolle, I thought she looked like a water spider with the lenses :D thank you for the history lesson. Indeed back then glass was stronger than alloy, just as people were getting used to drinking water, not 'liquid bread'.
I really wish I could get a studio job, I'll have to suffice with practicing and hopefully I can attain your level of muted aquamarine/jade for her diving suit.

@bombshell/patrick thanks for changing up the order of goals. :D momentum etc, the last LAST stretch could always be some HUEG number to see how much we want it. Then again we'll all have to wait 22 days for that.

@Talin. Thanks for the clarification on the helmet. That'll help when it comes to time to actually paint it.
I also quite like her overall colour scheme in the concept art. I'll be using that for inspiration too.

Vivian's helmet - as well as the hard parts of her suit - are inspired by the Carmagnolle Co.'s prototype diving suit from 1882. The array of small portholes across the front of the helmet was, presumably, to strengthen the helmet under pressure. (The suit also inspired the character Big Daddy in the video game "Bioshock.") For as cool as it looked, the suit was so heavy that it never got past the prototype stage; ironically, Vivian's pared-down version is actually more practical. :)
