What We Need & What You Get

The funding we're hoping to raise will go towards finishing the final draft of book two, printing costs and promotional costs. Right now, these books are only available online but once book 3 is finished, all 3 books will be joined together and sold through retail outlets accross the world.

The Impact

There are many goals for the Star Cross series. However, the immediate goal is not to make money. I know, this sounds stupid. But I'm a writer. I just want to write and share my story. I currenlty work two jobs, one of which is running my own company. My bills are paid. I want to continue producing Star Cross material and build a fan base so these fun, thought provoking books can be turned into a franchise some day inlcuding major motion pictures. This goal may seem large but I work in the film industry, and once all 3 books are done and turned into one full length novel, I will be developing a Star Cross feature film.

Other Ways You Can Help

Star Cross: Training Days Book One was one of the top selling books when released via the website but also on Amazon.com via paperback and for a short time, FREE on the Kindle. This book has sold hundreds of copies WITH NO PROMOTION OR MARKETING, with the exception of a facebook fanpage and twitter. With the release of Book Two, I would like to start some small advertisement in some Scifi magazines both here in the USA and in the UK. The contacts and network is already there, I just now need the product to deliver. There are currently two Star Cross books already for sale: Star Cross: Training Days Book One and Star Cross: Harsh Lessons, a prequel novella.

It's a hard time and a lot of people just don't have extra money. Again, I'm not writing these books to make money right now. I just want to write and distribute. Despite selling hundreds of copies, I've yet to make a profit because I've given away books and/or sold them at cost just to help create a fanbase.

I also have copies available on Ebay, again at cost or even cheaper. (Supplies limited for ebay sales and book may not always be available)
