Before you answer, know that this is NOT another trivia game. While there is a correct answer, your main goal in Bluff Wars is to come up with convincing fake answers and gain points by tricking your friends into guessing them. If you enjoy the feeling of bluffing out your friends in games like poker, then you'll love Bluff Wars. But there's more than just acronyms! Hoodwink your friends by writing hilarious movie titles, ridiculous quotes, unbelievable laws and much more! Or play our various images categories and really stretch your creativity! With over 2000 unique prompts, the fun is endless!

With a game like Bluff Wars, the social aspect is essential. Facebook connectivity means you will instantly be able to invite all of your friends to play in one of two modes. One-on-one pits you against one of your friends in a game of unlimited length, tracking your stats along the way. Or multiply the fun by playing group mode with 3-6 players, where you could potentially bluff out 5 friends at once to boost your score, and embarrass them all by posting it straight to your Facebook!

What Exactly Is Bluff Wars?

Have you ever wished you could have a party-game experience without all the game boards, cards, papers, and other clutter? Or without even having to gather your friends in one place at the same time?

A game of Bluff Wars begins when you invite a friend for a one-on-one match or up to 5 friends for group play. You can also create a game by playing with random players. Choose one of our 6 categories to receive a prompt!

After choosing a category, you will be given a question to answer, or a "prompt". As opposed to a traditional trivia game, you do not need to know the correct answer. Just make something up! But think carefully, since the point of the game is to trick other players into guessing your answer.

Now each of your friends receives the same prompt and also makes up an answer. When everyone has submitted their entry, it's time to guess. The answer choices include the correct answer, your friends' answers, and an additional fake answer.

After everyone has guessed, it's time to see the results! Two points are awarded for having another player guess your answer, and one point is awarded for choosing the correct answer. Post the results to Facebook to embarrass your friends and show off your best bluff-outs!

At this point, development is quite far along on iOS, but we need funds to finish the game, pack it with extra content, develop Bluff Wars for Android, and to pursue publishers for promotion of the game. With enough funding, we would even like to bring the game to Windows Phone and your favorite web browser!
