Patrick Hasson is an award-winning writer/director of films and documentaries, currently enrolled in UCLA’s Graduate Program for Screenwriting. He wrote and directed the restaurant comedy 'Waiting' (starring Reno 911's Kerri Kenney-Silver), which garnered three Audience Awards for Best Feature and received rave reviews worldwide. In 2004, Patrick was awarded Best Short Film at the Silver Lake Film Festival for his wildly-inventive dark comedy, 'Dead Broke.'
In 2005, Patrick was one of 13 American directors chosen to participate in the prestigious Berlinale Talent Campus at the Berlin Film Festival, and in 2008, received two Gold Honors for his commercial directing work on ‘The Big Day.’ Patrick's newest horror script, 'Blood Shed', was selected as a Quarterfinalist in the 2010 Nicholl Fellowship for Screenwriting, which he plans to direct.
