Safe Zone - Travel across a zombie-infested USA to a safe zone on the West coast.
Hi Everyone!
We’re Blind Eye Games, and we’re here to talk to you about our game Safe Zone, slated for release this fall on Windows OS.
In Safe Zone, a tactical adventure RPG created by Blind Eye Games, you must survive a zombie-Infested odyssey across the USA, until you reach the safe zone set up on the West coast.
You’re trapped on the wrong side of an army of the undead. Scavenge for supplies while trying not to attract their attention, as anything you do will increase the number of zombies following you. Eventually, you’ll need to face the horde, but before then, stock up on weapons, craft traps, fortify barricades, fend off raiders, and create a party.
You can’t stop them; there are too many. All you can do is keep going until you reach the Safe Zone.
Our Plans:
Our goal is to have this game available on Windows by the end of Fall 2011. But in order to do that, we need your support! And we’re not just looking for pledges; community support is just as important to us. If you like our game, we’d love to hear from you in the comments section here on kickstarter, or on our website. What Your Pledge Will Be Doing:
If we reach our goal, we will put 100% of the money towards increasing our production values and ensuring that the game releases this Fall.
Everything over 100% will help us to create a custom map editor that will allow players to make their own Safe Zone campaigns, and possibly the addition of mod support. If we get a lot of interest, we'd love to port the game all over the place, too!
More Game Info:
As you saw in the trailer, gameplay mainly consists of three parts:
- Top down free exploration when scavenging for supplies, other survivors, or information
- Side shooting defense when fighting hordes of zombies
- A menu based travel and encounter system as you cross the country
