Update #15: World Radio Premier Tonight!
Excited to announce that Bill Margeson, one of the most influential writers on Irish Music will be featuring Fiddle & Flute tonight on his American Public Radio broadcast (WDCP Chicago) from 8-9pm Central Time!

Update #14: CDs in / CD Release Concert This Friday!
I just realized that I didn't post any details here on our CD release concert/party! Here's the facebook page on it:

Also, we got the CDs in last week and they look great. You can now keep up with us at www.fiddleandflute.com which for the time being redirects to our facebook page - it may stay that way as it's a nice way to promote what one is doing in community. Pictures of the CDs are there.
So, just in case you missed it, the CD release party/concert is this Friday night at 7pm. All kickstarter.com backers get in free!

In addition to teaching & performing on the Irish flute & whistle, Blayne Chastain is also the music director for St. Patrick Presbyterian Church in Greeley, Colorado and founder of Whistle & Drum (www.WhistleAndDrum.com), a mail order shop specializing in Irish whistles & drums (bodhráns). He holds a BA from Berklee College of Music in Music Business where he studied guitar and an MA in Irish Traditional Music Performance (Irish flute) from the University of Limerick. In 2009 he developed a unique teaching platform through his personal website (www.BlayneChastain.com) for the Irish flute & whistle which has reached over 1000 students worldwide. In 2011 he and fiddler Natalie Padilla recorded the critically acclaimed album "Fiddle & Flute" with pianist Peter Romero. Blayne also enjoys flying remote controlled sailplanes and life at home with his wife, Deborah and kids, Erin & Grady.
