Imaginary friends can do more than make us laugh and serve invisible tea. They can get jobs, an apartment and help us escape parents!
Imaginary friends can do more than make us laugh and serve invisible tea. They can get jobs, get an apartment and help us escape the whims of our parents! Ashley and Blue find themselves in just such a predicament when her parents decide to uproot her life and move to another town. Their journey takes them through ice cream theft, tie fittings and crashed cars. All in an attempt to hold on to the only life they've ever known.

PRODUCTION & WHAT WE HOPE TO ACHIEVE
We have brilliant, experienced actors and a very capable crew. Pre-production is mostly wrapped up with shooting schedules, dates and multiple budget levels depending on where we land. This includes renting a dolly instead of using a skateboard, buying filters instead of uttering the dreaded, "We'll fix it in post!" and investing in our audio department both during production and post. There's also fire-breathing, crashing ships and dialog punctuated by death metal to take into consideration (it's a movie based on imagination!). We're serious about crafting the best story we can and it will show in the quality of what comes out of production.

CAST, CREW & EXPERIENCE
The film's co-producer, along with myself, both graduated film school years ago. Of course this doesn't make us creative geniuses but we have been on multiple productions and this gave us the groundwork for running a well-organized, efficient production. Last year we shot our own short film, It's Fine For Ducks (production stills above), which clocked in at 33min and over 200 camera setups. We're bringing back a lot of the crew from that shoot not only because of their experience but also because we've formed a shorthand on set and that gives us room to breath and try new things with less inherent risk. As far as our cast: our male lead was a co-star on our last film and has extensive film and theater experience. As luck would have it he's currently performing with a brilliant girl who we've signed on as our lead actress. Together they've acted in multiple stage productions and this means they already have a great working relationship that will surely translate on-screen because we don't have to fake that bond, it's already there.
THE FUTURE!
Our ultimate goal is festivals but we know where we're from and this short film will eventually find its' way around Vimeo and YouTube for all to love and then... someone will copy a scene and get in trouble, we'll be on MSNBC and in the midst of all that nervousness we'll cry, "Free Publicity!"
IN CLOSING
We're a group of people who love film and are well-trained in bringing our story to life. We hope you'll join us for the ride.
