Planet Fact This year, Neptune completes its first 165-year orbit of the sun since its discovery in 1846. Talk about taking the long way around!

Things have been quite busy with work, life (mainly birthday parties these days) and my poster project, but I want to keep everyone in the loop of what's been going on.

Poster: I've finished Mercury. If you are on Forrst or Dribbble you may have seen it posted there first, but i'm thrilled about how it looks! I will post the process of how it came to be soon (for backers only).

Status: We currently have 80 backers for a total of $3,332 (125% pledge goal)

Online Presence: This project has been featured in quite a few blogs including Flyer Goodness, Studio Tundra, and Inspiredology. I've also did a video interview recently talking about myself and inspiration.

What's Next: I'm eagerly trying to push myself to finish the remaining three posters before next weekend. This would give my current backers the choice of which poster(s) they would like in their home or office. It will also give the handful of potential backers who are interested in purchasing the complete set a chance to see what they will be purchasing.

Personally: I couldn't be happier with the amount of support & feedback I've gotten from this project. I absolutely cannot wait until the day I ship everything out to you awesome people. Thank you!

Here are the four posters i've designed so far. Please note that some of the colors may change slightly due to the printing techniques as well as the limited paper color choices.

I couldn't be happier to have met my goal this soon! With just under 3 weeks left before the project ends, I'm thrilled to give my future backers the reassurance of a great product.

That being said, I couldn't have done it without you lovely backers! Thank you for backing me as well as spreading the word religiously on my part. Here's to another 20 fantastic days ahead.

Almost everyday I wake up to look at the progress my project. Some of those days my optimism was low, despite friends and family saying "Don't worry, you got this".

So here we are in the middle of it all – 3 weeks down, 3 weeks to go. With a bit over $1900 raised I am as confident as ever that I'll be able to reach my goal. So you may be asking yourself "well, Stephen what about the other posters?" 

Yes, I have been working as late I possibly could to deliver these on time. I am quite keen on having these posters approved by my hardest critic yet – myself. That said, I believe that I will be able to show the remaining ones in the next couple of weeks, with Mercury being the first one.

Did you know that Mercury, unlike most planets, has only been imaged about 45 percent of the surface? This is because Mercury is too hot and too close to the sun for Mariner 10 (the first spacecraft to visit Mercury) to orbit. Don't fret, NASA's MESSENGER arrived at Mercury earlier this year (March 2011) to fully orbit the planet and should be done in a year.
