About this project
I'm moving back to NYC in June! This decision changes the primary goal in my first project video of having my own casting equipment- no need for that in NYC- there's plenty of casting houses there and a jewelry district too.
In my first video I talked also about needing to build an e-commerce website. I am currently working with a great web designer and we have already launched my blog, www.allthingsbec.com. The blog features my custom jewelry designs and talks about my creative process. The next phase of the website, is to have e-commerce to sell my jewelry collections and also a lookbook to show my jewelry as an editorial feature.
I hope I can convince you lovely backers that have committed to my first project, "Casting Call for Jewelry Designer" to continue supporting my new project, "Seeds of Change". Your continued support will help me raise the capital to complete the next phase of my website with e-commerce and a lookbook. With my new funding goal of $1500, if you'll stick by me- I'll be a mere $400ish away from the new goal!
To clarify the redirection in my project- I am taking down the first project, "Casting Call for Jewelry Designer" and launching my new project, "Seeds of Change". The cancellation of the first project will null and void your previous pledge. You should have received a notice from Kickstarter that the project, "Casting Call for Jewelry Designer" was canceled and your pledge was not processed.
Thank you so much for believing in me! Stayed tuned for updates in my new NYC digs.

"To watch Beth Coiner dance is to understand her jewelry- elegantly restrained, fluid and funky, graceful and strong, delicate but gritty." -Tiffany Silverman, Domain Magazine
"It all started with the monkey." -Beth Coiner
While dancing with the troupe she founded in New York City, Beth was inspired to try metalsmithing after working for a company where she assembled, The Monkey, a computerized animation simulator puppet. "I got really good at working with my hands and went on to manipulate metal," she says. After leaving modern dance, Beth turned full-time to designing jewelry.
