With less than $1000 to go before we reach our goal, I would like to thank each and every one of our backers from the bottom of my heart.And I'll take this opportunity to remind you that even if we hit $8000 by next Friday, we can go above and beyond that goal, ensuring even more exciting developments for the future of Pro Lo! In fact, if we hit $9k,I will personally fund a dinner out for all of the Project Lodge volunteers, who totally deserve a night on the town.Here's just one example of why:

Tom Teslik, Project Lodge volunteer extraordinaire, has more than a few tricks up his sleeve.  He works at cool places around Madison like Murfie Music and Dragonfly Lounge, he organized our 2012 compilation, and he's a fantastic musician in his own right!  Below, check out Tom delivering an early Valentine to Lauren from her girlfriend Gina.  This is a sample of what you can expect if you donated $50 or more- we'll all be pitching in to lend our voices and musical instruments to deliver singing telegrams all around the city and/or the interwebs.

Hello, all you lovely people!

Here in Madison, the snow's been falling all day, & I've been cocooned in my apartment, watching the snowglobe shake around me outside and the generosity tumble down from all over the country.  What a beautiful feeling to be 46% funded with 28 days left to go!

I especially wanted to give a shoutout to our local media for spotlighting our fundraising efforts- the publicity has surely given us a boost: AVClub Madison, Dane101, Isthmus/The Daily Page, Madison.com, Rock of the Arts, & WORT.  

Tomorrow night [Saturday, Jan. 21, doors at 6 PM] we're presenting a benefit show at Majestic Theatre.  We're thrilled to be joined by some of our favorite local musicians- Anna Vogelzang, Whitney Mann, All Tiny Creatures, Julian Lynch, & Icarus Himself will all be playing a set- plus, Good Style & Vintage Madison will present fashion shows and a pop-up shop!
