I was very grateful to have a very successful kickstarter for this short film and need a final push to put the finishing touches. We are at 98% and would love to show you this movie in the best light. We are asking for $2100 to complete this amazing short film. The $2100 will cover:

THE STORY

We follow LANA, a drugged addicted prostitute as she begins her cycle of self-depreciation. Her only aspiration is to be anywhere but her current state. She’s consistently chasing a high and her equally destructive boyfriend aggressively adds fuel to the fire.

In a moment of clarity LANA realizes that her drug addiction has lead her towards this downward spiral of self-loathing and destruction. She looks at her past and envisions her road to recovery. Her thirst for a sober life becomes clear in her eyes, with the hope that it may just happen.

Through an intervention, although not the first attempt her family guides her resurgence. We begin to see LANA in a brighter light for the first time, however her drug life is never far behind her. Taunted by her dark lifestyle and cravings, she becomes unsure if she can ever overcome her addiction. Being pulled on both the positive and negative aspect of life LANA’s new addiction has her frozen in this moment full of expectations of a new beginning.
