Wow, what an awesome day and it all happened because of you and your generous donation!

There was Learn to Solder, there was Swap-o-Rama and Fashion Show, there was How to Roast Your Own Coffee Beans, there were lots of robots including R2D2, there was make your own ice cream, there was Cecil the Seesaw.... so much great stuff!

The excitement of the OC Mini Maker Faire is winding up!  We've got over 30 Makers signed up and expect a few more to come straggling in, that's awesome considering that our goal was 25 Makers.   As we get closer the work becomes more detailed we're making decisions, laying out our map and putting on the final touches.

Thanks to your donations we were able to pre-purchase some Learn to Solder kits, soldering irons, solder and other materials needed for the Learn to Solder booth.  We are selling the kits for a small fee to help recoup those costs so we can do other things too, like Shake-in-the-Bag Ice Cream.

While all this is going on we've also been busy putting together your reward packages. The T-shirts are coming along nicely, Bequi's front bathroom has been converted into a temporary silk screening studio, the cats are a bit put out about that. 

The buttons were a bit more challenging.    We were very excited to find Glow-in-the-Dark buttons but, our artwork gave us some fits.   It looks like we've got it all straightened out though and they should be shipping next Wednesday, I can't wait to see them!    Once we have the buttons we can mail out packages to those who've requested it.   Thanks for your patience. 

Much gratitude, you all rock!!  Thank you thank you!!  That's all I can manage for now as I do the Snoopy Happy Dance!   We'll be getting your reward packages together in the next couple weeks and sending them out, watch for the survey that will help us determine your shirts sizes, etc.  And don't forget to find us and get your High Five at the First Annual OC Mini Maker Faire!!

Bequi and the whole OC Mini Maker Faire Exploratory Committee

As I write this we have 22 hours left on the Kickstarter campaign and only 27% of funding to go!   So far the amazing outpouring of support has been humbling, to each and every person who has pledged we thank you with all of our hearts.  

To all of the Makers who have filled out the Call for Makers application or intend to, we welcome you aboard and thank you for joining us.  Without you there would be no Mini Maker Faire at all.

To all of the independant businesses who have signed on as vendors, we appreciate your efforts and are excited to see all the wonderful wares you have to sell.  Thank you for joining us.

To everyone who has so far purchased a ticket, thank you for believing in us and know that your purchase also helps to fund this marvelous event.
