We realized we hadn't mentioned it in our video or in the post so now that we're nearing the end we wanted to let everyone know that if you've chosen rewards including Art Books, Hardcovers, or Bookplate Edition Hardcovers you are getting discounts over anyone waiting till after they're printed!

Right now on the Kickstarter if you're picking up any of the individual Art Books you're getting them for 10$ each. These are going to retail for 15$. Meaning if you've contributed to anything with them as a reward you're saving anywhere from 5$ to 20$!

The Hardcovers are limited to just over 400 copies and during the Kickstarter they're going for 80. Once we have them in hand they'll be sold for 90$ meaning if you already have one chosen as a reward you've saved 10$!

The Bookplate Edition of the Hardcovers will be limited to roughly just under 300 copies. We're selling them on the Kickstarter for 100$ and they will retail for 110$. This is a 10$ savings and we're halfway sold out of this edition so there is the possibility we won't have any at all left when the Kickstarter Ends.

We never anticipated we'd reach the goal IN UNDER 2 DAYS!! Since we have so much time to spare, we've worked out some ways to make the books better as we go over goal. The breakdown is as follows:

If we get to 21,000$ - The individual art book covers will be printed with an additional pantone red on the cover: this will make the red section be more consistent and bright and nice-looking.

If we get to 25,000$ - The individual art books get foil stamped logos on the covers, in gold.

Benign Kingdom is a creator-owned publishing project designed to showcase the art of independent comic creators. This project will fund the printing of four 32-page art books, by webcomic artists Yuko Ota (Johnny Wander), Evan Dahm (Rice Boy), Becky Dreistadt (Tiny Kitten Teeth), and KC Green (Gunshow). These books will include some of the best work each of us have done over the past couple of years, outside of our comics. There will also be one hardcover book, including the full contents of all four individual art books.
