Update #6: Another Song - "Hurricane"
Another demo for you from the upcoming album(s). Hurricane will be on the third one and, I have to say, is probably one of my more 'cinematic' songs. Big vocals, big strings, big metaphors, big everything. There are actual strings on this one from a session we did a while back and a rougher version of this was on a little EP I handed out briefly. A bigger, better version is still to come...
Again, the video is just what it all looks like on my recording rig. This one is a little fun to watch at the beginning where the vocals and strings are going back and forth.

Update #4: BEFORE - "Don't Look Back"
Update #3: Video Update!
It's me, talking about what's been raised so far, questions you've had, videos of and updates about recording the three albums. We have less than a month to go and we're 53% of the way there. If you haven't pledged yet, please do. If you have, please tell a friend!

Update #2: Thank you!
Everyone! I can't believe it's only been 5 days and we're already over $1,000!
$7,500 is right around the corner, and if we raise more it will go to make an even better album with even more promotion to hopefully launch it even higher.
Thank you very much to everyone who has pledged so far. You are the best of the best.

Pledge $490 or more Pledge $490 or more
But wait, there's more...pledge at the $490 level and get everything I've listed above, only you'll get hand-written lyrics to three songs of your choosing AND I WILL WRITE A SONG FOR YOU ABOUT WHAT EVER YOU'D LIKE ME TO WRITE ABOUT (nothing profane, I do have standards).
Pledge $1,000 or more Pledge $1,000 or more
At this point you're wondering what I could possibly have left to give away, kind pledger. Well, I'll tell you: me. If you pledge $1000 to my project to release three albums I will not only give you everything I've listed above (let's recap: 3 digital downloads and signed hard copies of the albums, the tote bag (rock!), hand-written lyrics to 3 songs, you and a friend on the guest-list, and I will write a song for you), I will perform that song along with the rest of my songs for you in your living room, bed room, back yard, garage, wherever you choose, for you and whomever you choose to invite. An intimate solo acoustic show by yours truly.
Pledge $2,100 or more Pledge $2,100 or more
All of the above, but instead of just me performing the band and strings will be there too. Just imagine, all of us, playing in your living room.

Ben, I love your use of strings. Personally I get attached to words and being able to understand them, so it is disappointing to me that when the increase in the strings make the understanding of your words difficult to figure out. Near the end when there is what I call the "shouting" bit and then there are some vocal "under" the music...I have no idea what they are saying, but perhaps that is what you want. Love to see you grow. Julie Ann
