Update #16: BENCH SEAT will premiere in 5 days at the LA Shorts Fest!
We just wanted to let everyone know that BENCH SEAT: A MUSICAL will have it's world premiere this Sunday, July 24th at the LA Shorts Fest. Tickets are currently on sale at the Sunset 5 box office. If you are in the LA area, we'd love to see you there!

Update #14: Day One of Filming - a success!
Hello fabulous backers!
We wanted to give you an update because we have officially started our second day of filming! Yesterday was long and trying, but we had an amazing first day!
The last two weeks were very rushed as we locked in cast: joining Cassie Scerbo as the female lead is the very talented KYLE RIABKO. Kyle spend the last few years starring on Broadway in both "Spring Awakening" and "Hair," and now has a recurring role on "90210."
We also managed to land a fantastic choreographer, Cris Judd. As well as being a great dancer in his own right, Cris has been one of the most sought after film, television, music video, and tour choreographers for the past decade. He has done an outstanding job for us workshopping, auditioning dancers, and helping to mold some very memorable dance numbers.
We have 3 more shoot days. Today we are all dialogue, but tomorrow we film our second big dance number with our male dancers and we are expecting some great celebrity cameos, including Dan Finnerty (from "The Dan Band"), Kevin Pollack, and our composer Teddy Geiger.
Attached is a still of the moniter from set yesterday; We shot our "Falling in Love" fantasy dance number which was a throwback to classic musicals. Hopefully, you'll be able to imagine how great it looks on moving film!

Anna is from Seattle - where she graduated from the University of Washington before moving to Los Angeles to follow her dreams. She worked at a production company called Wonderland Sound and Vision for six years before making her award-winning first music video. Since then, she has continued directing Music Videos, Commercials, and the award-winning short film, "Matter." She plans on making movies and musicals in the future.
Anna has directed videos for dozens of artists including Train, Matt Goss, The Pussycat Dolls, Carbon Leaf, The Dan Band, and Stella Starr.
