5: Season 2 continues the story of Detective James Aidan as he works to
unravel the ever-deepening mystery enveloping his futuristic city. In
the first season of this living comic book, Aidan solved the mystery of
his clones’ murders only to find himself replaced by the killer – a
killer who also happens to be one of Aidan’s clones. The scripts are ready - we can't wait to show you what happens next!
What is AIDAN 5?
“AIDAN
5” is an original web series told through an innovative blend
of live acting and sketched art. Based on the award-winning 48-hr film festival short,
“AIDAN 5” has won festival awards from the Midwest to the West Coast,
and was nominated for nine awards by the International Academy of Web
Television (IAWTV). The IAWTV Awards honor the artistic and
technological achievements of the web television industry.

Our first season relied on creativity and determination as the only resources. Since we filmed with literally no budget, our team not only gave their time and efforts, but also dug a bit into their own pockets. With Season 2, we’d like to at least cover everyone’s costs, as well pay for permits and fees, craft services, props, equipment and so forth (and maybe even start paying these good folks.)
When will I be able to see this project when completed?
We'll be premiering Season 2 both on our website (http://www.aidan5.com) and at Gen Con Indy in August of 2013. (You'll notice quite a few perks are also at Gen Con 2013 to coincide with our release.)

AIDAN 5 is a VERY ambitious series. With an entirely volunteer cast and crew of local film and television professionals, deadlines are always tough to meet. Our project is entirely green screen, so EVERY shot is a visual effects shot and post-production is a daunting task indeed. Thankfully while creating Season 1, we were able to put together a great team and really figure out the work flow. For Season 2, we now have the process firmly in place - we just need the opportunity to get started on it.
