Hello fabulous backers! 

We've been busy tied to our IMPASSE preproduction desks pulling together a great cast and crew for this weekend's shoot! The biggest lifesaver in the crazyland of preprod has been the addition of Annie Lower as Line Producer and Preproduction AD. We would have been lost without her incredible talents.

Tomorrow, Jeanne flies to Florida to pick up the RED Epic and drive it to Orlando for the shoot. She wrote a new Balls of Steel: Lights, Camera, Anxiety Attack that will launch on ScriptMag.com Thursday, describing what it feels like to finally bring her words off the page and to life. Last night, we hit $14,000!!! It just so happened that Wonder and I (Bekemeyer) were Skyping at the time, talking about the script and the role and the film as a whole.

This video is Wonder's reaction to the news. The quality is low, but the energy is very high and in just a few seconds, she sums up how we all feel about this movie. :)

Yesterday was a WILD day in Impasse-land... we are now only $1289 from our goal and have 9 days to get there! The support has been humbling, and yes, Jeanne has cried a few times. We're so touched. And today, woke up to an article about Impasse in The Indie Times!  

We can't thank all of you enough for sharing the Kickstarter link with your friends and showing such amazing support! 

We need to still push to reach our goal... and beyond. Every penny we raise over our budgeted goal will go to good use. We have film festival submission fees to consider, as well as bringing a DP in. 

We will not only make this happen, but we'll bring you the most amazing film we can. The bar is high.

We're thrilled to have surpassed $8,000 yesterday. Now we can unveil our new $9,000 milestone perk! 

• NEW MILESTONE: At $9,000 mark, Zac Sanford is offering development notes on a single script to one lucky backer of Impasse.  The development notes will include extensive line, scene, story, character & marketability notes.  This can be on a feature script, an original pilot, or a spec episode of an existing show (as long as he has enough knowledge of the show).  Besides the note, the writer will be allowed a follow up call or skype conversation to discuss the notes and game plan for the rewrite with me in further detail. OR... If the selected backer of Impasse would rather have a session to develop and hone a pitch for their script, that is another option.  Zac will read the script and work with the writer over the phone or on Skype to create an effective pitch and one-sheet to be used as a leave behind or query letter.
