"Flying Over Utah" is a documentary video following local fly fisherman Cody Prentice.  Employed at Circle Valley Anglers and Fremont River Guides he has over a decade of fishing experience.  Behind Closed Doors Productions wishes to take his experiences and the breathtaking local scenery and bring them to your screen.  This documentary will follow Cody to the ends of the great state of Utah looking for that perfect fishing spot.  Personal as well as peer interviews will paint a bigger, better, and broader picture of the world of fishing and in particular fly fishing.

What we hope to accomplish with this is show our viewers a good time and good information about the sport of fly fishing.  Upon completion we also want to enter this film in some local festivals to showcase all of the effort put into this project by both us and you.

Your part in all of this?  Upon reaching our predetermined financial goal, all proceeds will go directly to the project.  Most of it will sadly go to gas.  Utah is over 82,000 square miles, with a little under 3,000 square miles being water.  Now we are not going to be traversing all of that, most of it cant be done easily and would not serve our purposes either way so no worries.  We will be coordinating, setting up, and traveling specific routes to get to our destinations.  Without you there can be no project.  The rest of the money will go to food (when nothing is biting) and a emergency fund (like for a flat tire or broken leg).  We already have some equipment, for fishing and filming, and scripting is already underway so those will be secondary to the above items. 

Another way to influence the film, during and after the donating process, is you can request certain areas in Utah you wish to be seen in the film or ask certain questions for the guide and crew to answer for you on film.  A reward is set up for a personal dvd of the documentary with bonus features as well as a hard copy version with no special features.  Online viewing will also be available at no reward.  All music for this will be entirely open source and free to the public.

(kickstater says it will do this for me as well so a safety net there.)  No emails will be kept after product is shipped and under no circumstances will personal information be shared.
