Glorious, full-color and in 3 dimensions, the 12" record jackets have arrived. They look amazing.

They are printed on a heavy and extremely durable paper stock from the country's finest manufacturer of record jackets - Dorado Press. Located in North Hollywood California, Dorado was started in 1993 by "Dorado Bob" and his wife Lynn as they set out to serve the music community with unbeatable quality. Their eye for detail over the years has made them a staple of the music industry.

2 Vinyl release performances - July 7th
Celebrate the release of the vinyl record with us at Chicago's Ultra Lounge July 7th with Ganon and Rabid Rabbit at 9PM.

And, for our specialist of special fans, a FREE show that same day at Chicago's Reckless Records on Milwaukee. 5pm. Don't miss it - intimate and loud.

... the arrival of the finished vinyl records complete with inner label and the black and white inner sleeve. We are right on schedule for shipping out early July. Thanks everyone for you kind attention.

We have the test pressing back and approved by the band from Nashville's United Pressing. They sent out 4 copies in alluring red sleeves with a simple label denoting side A and side B. The process is straightforward: each of us goes into their respective cave, listens to it on their own home turntable, in their normal listening environment. You listen for cracks and pops, EQ and the like. Does it sound as huge as it should? Bass? High end? And then the final listening occurs all together so we can discuss the finer points of the finer points. In the end it was easily a "go".

United goes back to 1949 and are one of the only major players in record manufacturing in the US. They pressed the first Beatles 7" for god's sake. That's what we're talking about here.

The record cover jackets are manufactured in an entirely separate process by a different company. The art was sent out at the conclusion of the Kickstarter process and should be arriving soon. We're super psyched!
