From Jeff Lowe (Executive Director and founder of www.bayareastage.org) This video, shot 2/24/2012, is of our Music Director, Cynthia Heath, teaching the very first full-on rehearsal of our Orphans! They are singing the complex layered vocal score of Food Glorious Food from OLIVER! - The next Bay Area Stage Productions musical opening May 11 at the Bay Terrace (Mira) Theatre in Vallejo!

As you can see, none of them are holding scripts! - These children are so gifted that, after Cynthia read them the words a few times, they were able to sing it! These are the kinds of things that inspire me to want to make the performing arts available to everyone, from every walk of life, every age and every level of ability. People ALWAYS have something good and worthwhile to offer.

Please help us to raise awareness of the incredible variety of performing arts and the amazing artists performing them in the Greater North Bay Area -

All donations will specifically be used to pay actual production costs of Oliver! and West Side Story (which will be our 10th production in 3 years!), which include, but are not limited to, royalties ($3,000), venue costs (35% of ticket sales), Set construction materials ($1,200), costumes ($1,000) and props ($700).
