We are Battle Victorious, an indie folk-rock duo. Coming together from North Carolina and Utah, we write about struggle, hope and everything in between. Here are some things that people have said about our music:
“They mine a Dave Matthews sort-of folk rock vein." (Mark Jordan of the Memphis Flyer).
“Todd and Emily Marriott have a winning way with wistful melody...”(Tony Cummings of Cross Rhythms)
“If you are lucky enough to live where they’re playing, do yourself a favor and see them.” (iTunes review).
We got married in 2005, recorded our first album in 2008, had a baby in 2009, and we're going to have another one in 2012!
