BATTLE FOR BRITAIN

Battle for Britain is a 13-minute short film starring Julian Glover (Star Wars, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Troy, Young Victoria) as a 101-year-old veteran pilot who fought in the Battle of Britain.

The film pays tribute to the extraordinary history of the many foreign pilots who defended the skies of Britain from the Nazis, 70 years ago today.

 BUT... WE NEED YOUR HELP

Since its completion in October 2010, Battle for Britain has been selected by some of the world’s leading festivals, including these Oscar and BAFTA qualifying fests:

Cleveland International Film Festival

Newport Beach Film Festival

51st Krakow Film Festival

Palm Springs Int'l ShortsFest

However, certain festivals including Nantucket Film Festival who wished to program our film, cannot exhibit it unless we provide a costly 35mm print.

Also, our film has been entirely privately funded and we have run out of funds to submit the festival to additional festivals.

The average festival submission costs $50. It quickly adds up.

We need your help to bring “Battle for Britain” to a Festival near you.

Your donation will allow us to make a 35mm print with full Dolby Surround Sound (already mixed by the wizards at Hackenbacker) worth $6,000 and to bring our film to the attention of the very best festivals and cinemas in the whole world.
