The Dry Gourmet: Cooking wine for the sober community.
Inspired by a physician, addiction specialist and recovering addict, The Dry Gourmet's Dry Red Wine is the first non-alcoholic cooking wine for people who wish to cook with wine, but not alcohol.
The Dry Gourmet has a long shelf-life (but no salt or preservtives), perfect for those who frequently cook with wine, but may not need an entire bottle.
Formed from a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, each packet of Dry Red Wine delivers the color, aroma and flavor of red wine, without alcohol (none...zero...nada).
The Dry Gourmet's Dry Red Wine is a beautiful purple powder with a long shelf life (but no preservatives). It can be used in cooking, just like regular wine (just add water). It can also be used to liven up baking recipes (a bit tricky with regular wine). Now, you can serve all your favorite dishes, from Cajun to Continental.
Coq au Vin, Marinara Sauce, French Onion Soup...you name it! Now you can create dishes with the flavor, aroma and color of real wine, without the salt in prepared wines or the alcohol in regular wines.
Cooking with wine is an ancient tradition. This tradition is now available to those in recovery, people with religious restrictions and anybody who wishes to cook with wine, but not the alcohol.
We need your help to procure enough Cabernet Sauvignon to make our product economical. Your pledge will be used to purchase and prepare the cooking wine, design the packaging and get ready to launch!
