Hey everybody, be sure to let us know when you get your box! We want to make sure they've arrived to their final destinations without trouble :)

For those who haven't received theirs yet, know that they are on their way and you can be expecting them any day now! I'm not sure how long the international boxes will take, but trust that we sent them!

Well everybody, it's been a crazy ride and I'm proud to say that we are FINISHED! Each one is being shipped out tomorrow in a special box, complete with a chapbook, a cool card thingy, and a thank you note!!!  ^^ 

Each book has been binded, cut out, pasted and all of the rest of it by hand-- with the exception of the print on the pages of course-- that's done by machines and stuff. ;)  We spent hours in Megan's garage working on these things. Each cover is uniquely painted and cut out, the inside covers have cool comic strip pictures of us smashing some TVs, and all of the art and poetry is inside like we said it would be.

There is a card thing we made that is just a front to back of our title/ending with two pictures of us on it, because those were going to be the covers-- but we thought that the covers looked so cool the way they were with just the paint, we'd leave them. 

We really went more DIY on this thing than I thought, and learned A LOT about how much it actually takes to make books, and create something like this -- so the next time we do a project, we'll have a little more experience and hopefully things will get done faster. 

Thank you for being so patient everybody! I hope all of you  enjoy the book, we worked really hard to make each one-- and the best part is that they're all unique! ^^

Okay. We couldn't go through with printing via createspace, because I didn't want to risk the images coming out blurry. No matter what I did, I couldn't make the images better pixelated when it uploaded to the template, because when Word converts to PDF-- it makes images below 70dpi. 

So then, I decided to go buy ink, and try to do it all DIY, but ink costs a lot and my printer isn't the magical unicorn I once thought it was. BUT NEVER FEAR, WE DONT GIVE UP! 

So this is what we are doing instead. We bought paper, nice paper-- so that we can have the pages printed out on them, professionally, and then we are doing the covers and the binding ourselves. We made the 6 by 9 into a little over 5 by 7, that way we can fit two pages front to back on an 8 by 11, and it is more affordable. We thought long and hard on the size change, and it still looks really good. 

This will get to everybody before June is up, and it WILL look really nice. Again, thank you Backers, for being patient. You're all amazing, and we couldn't do it without you. :)

Hey Backers! I'm working in the amazon create space so we can mass produce these books for you lovely folks and our friends and family. The estimate for the full color copies we desire is pretty much the same amount of money you all helped us to get, so YAY and thank you again! 

The money went through just a few days ago, and I'm still working on making a perfect pdf file to upload onto create-space. There are a few image errors and margin issues that keep occurring that I have to figure out, but I'm on it. As soon as our order is sent in I will update again, and once we receive the books we'll take pictures of packing everything and sending them out to everybody.

We made 200 bucks and printed out our very first copy tonight at Kinkos! WHOOHOOO!!!! All the cool kids go there around ten thirty at night to print stuff because they close at eleven PM ;D ... But it turned out to be a scary amount... Thank goodness sir Ameer behind the register had a heart and magically forgot how many colorful glossy pages it was. From here on out, I'm looking for a way to mass produce these before June so I can get them to everyone on time and looking the best they can!
