Help BARE Dance Company travel to Seattle to perform at the distinguished, all male dance showcase, Men in Dance on October 12-14, 2012
Hello friends!
This Kickstarter is to help 4 members of the company travel from New York, NY to Seattle, WA to perform at the prestigious Men In Dance Festival. Conceived in 1994, the 2 weekend festival highlights 14 men and women choreographers from all over the country and showcase the raw talent of male dancers on stage.
The Dance:
Mike Esperanza, BARE Dance Company artistic director, was invited to present "Snap", a piece that explores the ideas around the subconscious. The thoughts that play around our choices and how the actions contribute to the outcome of a situation. Using original music composed by Mike Esperanza, this dark comedy will bring to life all the possibilities that could happen between our perception to our reaction.
The performance will take place at the Broadway Performance Hall in Seattle, WA on October 12th-14th
