Update #2: We made it!
Hello Kickstarter friends!
Georgiana Starlington here to tell you that we made our goal and to thank each and every one of you that made it possible. This tour was funded by you! Doesn't that just make you feel awesome?
Tour was amazing as well! If you were following our every move on Facebook, you saw how fun it was. If you didn't get to catch that stuff, it's all on our Facebook page. You'll have to do some scrolling, but it's worth it! There's lots of pictures and videos from our travels.
Toxey and Titus put together a video collage of our SXSW tour experiences, the Texas Tour Trust Tape. Say that three times fast! And enjoy the video!
Again, thank you so much for your pledge. Your goodies are in the mail so you should be expecting them soon!

Connected as Lauren Balthrop (1004 friends)
In 2006, Alabama-born songwriter-siblings Pascal and Lauren Balthrop moved to New York City to start a band and ended up founding a town. Balthrop, Alabama, population 11 or so, is their bustling folk rock township.
Musically, the band straddles the fine line between antebellum and antifolk, reconstructing indie pop with songs of love, dead people, and dead people in love. One fan described the town’s genre as “barnyard epic indie rock.” In 2007, they released their double-album debut, Your Big Plans and Our Little Town, on the nascent End Up label, followed by a series of EPs: the rebellious God Loves My Country and the companion records Subway Songs and Cowboy Songs.
