We are finally playing the Vans Warped Tour this summer. We've dreamed of doing this since we were kids. Our fans are the best ever!!
HELP US SURVIVE AND MAKE THE MOST OF THE VANS WARPED TOUR!
So as some of you may already know, we've been invited to join the Vans Warped Tour this Summer. If you're not familiar, the Vans Warped Tour has been around for almost 20 years and is the premiere punk rock tour in the world. It's responsible for breaking numerous bands such as Sublime and No Doubt. The tour hits 41 cities across the United States and Canada over 7 and a half weeks. All of us in Ballyhoo! are very honored to be invited to be a part of this year's tour, and extremely excited to play our music for thousands of soon to be Hooligans! The Vans Warped Tour is exactly what we need to take Ballyhoo! to the next level!
All that being said, as amazing and beneficial of an experience as it's going to be, it's going to be a very grueling and very financially taxing tour. We will be driving over 22,000 miles and will be on the road for over two months. To help curb the costs of gas and also to help reduce the environmental effects of such a trek, we are going to lease a Rock-It Ship, a diesel Sprinter that is designed for touring bands. It will get more than twice the gas mileage of our current transportation, as well as provide us a place to sleep and be comfortable for the countless overnight drives. This small bus will be our only home for 2 months!
We've started this campaign to help pay for the greener vehicle and cover some of the gas, as well as buying promotional materials we can use to help spread the music to all the tour attendees. We've come up with what we think are some fun and unique incentives for our potential backers. We hope you like them and help us out making our successful Vans Warped Tour dreams happen!

Coming off a stellar year in 2011, Ballyhoo! is thrilled to be kicking off 2012 with the announcement that they will be a part of the world’s largest and most intense alternative rock tour this summer, Vans Warped Tour® 2012. Howi Spangler, lead singer and guitarist for Ballyhoo!, says, “It’s an honor to be invited by Kevin Lyman on such a world-famous tour. We’ve been trying for years to get on this tour and are excited to finally be joining the ranks!.”
MTV.com predicted last year that Ballyhoo! would be a band to watch for, and it certainly appears they were right! Since signing with LAW Records, the Baltimore, MD foursome has toured with Pepper and The Dirty Heads, joined 311 for their Pow Wow Festival and Caribbean Cruise, and been invited to support Foo Fighters and Blink-182 at the 2012 Bamboozle Festival.
Ballyhoo!’s last album release, DAYDREAMS, debuted at #1 on the iTunes’ and #4 on Amazon’s Reggae Charts. ThePier.org, the premier website for the reggae rock genre, stated, “This is definitely a ground-breaking album for the east-coast veterans in the scene.”
The Vans Warped Tour®, featuring the best in underground and independent music, kicks off its forty-one date tour on June 16, 2012 in Salt Lake City, UT and wraps in Portland, OR on August 5, 2012. Ballyhoo! has been perfecting their electrifying live performance and magnetic sound through years of non-stop touring and recording. Now, they are eager to bring their show and unique hybrid of reggae, rock, punk and pop to Vans Warped Tour® fans in every city this summer.
