Bad Ferret Films' second collaboration is an intense, stylized short film about a pool hustler and the girl that broke his heart.
Jack has a name for his troubles, and that name is Sara:
Jack Pappas, a pool-room hustler and trusted friend, has everything under control until an old flame shows up looking for help. Everything is not as it seems as Old Hollywood meets the Digital Age in this short-form piece of contemporary noir.
About the Project:
Bad Ferret Films' second collaboration is an intense, stylized short film about a pool hustler and the girl that broke his heart. Our first film, "Broken Down" has screened locally and is available for purchase or rental through Amazon.com. With Massé, we plan to create a piece that can compete on the national (or international) stage with other independent productions at festivals, online, and in distribution markets.
We are pushing film-making in South-Central Pennsylvania forward, with a production team that knows how to get the most out of every penny we raise. The script for Massé calls for special effects, trick pool shooting, firearms, and advanced fight choreography. The success of this campaign will ensure our ability to execute at the full potential our talented cast and crew bring to the table.
