About this project

The goal has been reached! I can't thank you all enough!

Now, here's the deal, as you may or may not know my first project goal for my actual costs for this album was $7,000... So, the more of you that pledge to raise the final number, the better it is for both you and I.

For every $100 extra that gets reached over the original $2,000, I'll record an acoustic version of a song off the new album and every whom has pledged $10 or more will receieve a copy of the song.

So, don't be afraid to keep pledging, because the more that's raised, the more I'll be able to do for the album release for you all!

**ORIGNAL POST**
My first try at this Kickstarter project was unsuccessful, so I've scaled back the project a ton to make it something completely possible. Basically, I've taken the vinyl production, as well as most of the producer and release costs out, to make the focus the physical CD release.

As you may or may not know, I'm a completely unsigned artist. Every single thing I do involving spending money for Backseat Goodbye comes straight from my pocket. So, with your help, it's my goal to make this new album release something very special for you guys!

So, long story short, it takes money to make and release a full-length album, a LOT of money. Here's a breakdown of the costs for this specific release:
+ Recording time/producer cost: $2,100+
+ Physical CD production: $1,600
+ Release Costs (promotion, press, etc): $2,000+++

So, what happens here, is you "pledge" money to pay. If I get enough people to pledge enough money to where my goal of $2,000 is reached, then HOORAY.... The project happens just as scheduled, you all get your rewards, and I get to release this album the way it's meant to be released! If the goal isn't reached, then that really sucks and the release doesn't happen this way at all, but then you don't have to pay a thing (but also, none of the rewards happen either.) So, it's a two sided thing here, where if you guys help me then I help you in a way :)

Please feel free to spread the word about this project to friends of yours that like my music (or even to friends that don't know about my music!) You'd be surprised how much one Twitter or Facebook post, one Myspace bulletin, one Tumblr post, etc can help out something like this!

ALSO, you can find out anything you'd need to know about how to pledge simply by clicking the big green button on the right of the screen (just above the Pledge Rewards) that says "Back This Project or Simply Learn More"!

**PLEASE NOTE: By "pledging" money, you will NOT be charged right this second. If the $2,000 is successfully pledged in 30 days, it's then you'll be charged.

Also, PLEASE ONLY PLEDGE MONEY IF YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO PAY IT. Any amount, small or large will help, so don't feel the need to over-exert yourself financially. Just give what you can, and it will be appreciated immensely! :)
