THE STORY 

In 2011, Timothy Silva had the problem of finding a place to eat healthy and affordable food on College Hill. After a chance connection between Danny Do, Alec Babala and Otis Gray, Tim knew that this was the team of passionate like-minded individuals that will bring College Hill the first food truck that served healthy dishes made from local ingredients. Though their encounter was fleeting, the dream stuck: 2012, the Radish team is working day and night to make it a reality. 

INTRO

We want to create a seasonal food truck that specializes in serving sandwiches and other dishes made from only the most local and fresh ingredients. The Radish team knows that Providence is a vibrant community for creative thinkers and makers. To that end we want Radish to be a hub for artists, musicians, and adventurers in the community by promoting their work through the truck. Imagine a mobile gallery space that doubles as a place to get amazing, feel-good food you can eat with your hands. 

THE MENU

Our menu will focus on serving healthy food made from local ingredients that tastes good and feels good to eat. Here's a sample of what we have planned and tested:

• Banh Mi Pork Beef, Seitan Vegan option, Grilled Vegetables

• Hungarian Goulash stew

 We are in possession of a truck that is currently being refurbished into a proper food truck that meets health codes and regulations.

AN INCUBATOR SPOT

In December of 2011 Radish was the grand-prize winning entrant in the Johnson and Wales Shark Tank competition. We are now entered into a startup incubator with experienced career advisors and some startup funding.
