Update #8: The Penners come through thanks for the pledge!
Family and friends... what more can I say. Suddenly, this crazy idea is looking possible thanks to you. Two pledges so far just today and I can't tell you how happy I am.
Even if this doesn't make it, just the idea that you believe in this to take this step with me in the music world is making me feel convinced that I can't stop, gotta keep trying.

I've attached a demo of the songs I am working up for the CD. Money is really running out on this and I would love it if you could repost the link to the project and maybe between your friends and their friends, etc... backers will contribute and we can make it!

Update #4: A sequoia starts as a tiny seed, so can this grow into our CD
I just wanted to draw an analogy. I have a packet of sequoia seeds, I was going to plant them, but to be honest, I don't have room for a giant redwood in suburbia. But I love the idea of these super small things having the enormous potential and longevity of a tree. The sequoia in particular that can live for thousands of years, give joy and solace to countless living things.
A dollar, a referral, an email to your Facebook friends are all like this tiny seed.
You get the picture. Any tiny bit helps, don't feel afraid to not be in a position to directly pledge, just tell others, you can be like the wind that carries the sequoia seed!!
Deep, huh? Seriously, if you tell others and share the widget/link/email/facebook, however you tell others in your circle of contacts, that's just huge. Thank you. And hey, if you can invest in the CD, FABULOUS, there are returns, my friends. We're gonna make a CD, isn't that cool?

Ava has recently been chosen to perform the National Anthem on tenor saxophone at an NBA Sacramento Kings' basketball game on 11/29
She is a unique regional talent, performing live shows in the Sacramento area as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who plays alto and tenor saxophones.
Ava also gives of her musical talents in the community by performing for seniors at many Assisted Living residences in Sacramento. Ava is also an active volunteer at her son's elementary school as an art docent, librarian and of course, she has been known to sing and teach the little ones a song or two! She donated the design of the school's new logo which can be seen on the marquee, she also donated original character murals to the school's kindergarten rooms.
