Hello Kickstarter supporters.  As promised we have learned a lot this summer and plan to share many of our learning experiences with you from the summer.  Right now most of our tomatoes have come in and we have had herbs and peppers throughout the season.  We are installing a heater and some grow lights in the coming weeks to extend the season and see how long we can utilize the greenhouse this year. 

In July we hosted our first cooking class and a recent blog entry shares some of the basic recipes which featured backyard items found in most urban gardens and backyard garden set ups.  The recipes and photos from the class are available on our blog.

Next week we will post a video for all of you showing the finished patio and you can look back at the original video to see just what a transformation it has been and what you helped to create.

The Cafe is open and doing well, we plan to open the patio (where guests can dine in view of the Greenhouse your support helped build).  We also had a nice article in the local paper last week that talks more about the project and the role of the greenhouse in it!  Read it here.
