Amazing!

Update #1 · Mar 10, 2010 · comment

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone again for their contributions. This has been a really inspiring process and I know we're going to put on a great festival because of you.

Personally, I'd like to say that this is really important for me because it's the first work that I've ever done specifically in the neighborhood I grew up in. I've gotten a lot out of Park Slope, and I think it's only fair that I contribute something to this amazing place. This festival is about community, it's about people interacting, it's about music, it's about light, it's about having an extraordinary night in an extraordinary place.

Next I'd like to say that if you're in New York tomorrow night, Thursday, March 11th, we're having a fundraiser at the hilariously-named Lava Gina lounge on Avenue C between 7th and 8th Street. They've been amazing to work with and they're helping us out a lot. I even wrote a song about them (sort of): http://www.youtube.com/watch...

THANKS EVERYONE! Keep telling everyone you know about the festival and help us reach our goal to put on the freshest event this side of Atlantic Ave. Don't let Williamsburg have all the fun ;)

Much love,
-Ari
