Thanks to Kickstarter we got through year one of the first ever ATX Television Festival, now it's time to go big for 2013!
ATX Television Festival had a successful first year on June 1-3, 2012 in Austin TX, largely due to Kickstarter. Without all of you, our simple idea, that was different enough that not everyone "got it," would never have happened.

Now we are gearing up for year two and still need your help to get it up and running. Our goal remains the same: to spend a weekend geeking out and celebrating Television through panels and screenings. On top of that, encompassing more than a specific genre of television, and continuing to incorporate never aired episodes and past fan favorites.
Now that we have a year under our belt (see our video and links below) we are headed strong to year 2, and with that are announcing for the FIRST TIME 2013 dates:
June 6-9, 2013 in Austin, TX
We will be back at the Stephen F. Austin Intercontinental Hotel and will have strong representation from writers, creators, actors, studios, and locals having a great time geeking out for one another. We want to recreate this year's intimacy and accessibility, but are focusing on getting more of you to come out! Starting anything new takes money, and though we did lose some this year, the positive response from everyone was incredible, and the demands for another year have been heard!
That brings us to round 2, and this is where you come in... if you attended this year, just like the idea, heard about it, followed the happenings on Twitter and Facebook, would want to come for a second year (any or all of the above), then please give a little green to the cause. We've purposefully set our goal low so that we can simply engage you and other TV Geeks/Fanboys and girls. We will launch badge/ticket sales after this campaign and Kickstarter supporters will get first access at lower prices for 2013.
More than anything this campaign is to keep you talking about the festival, share videos, pictures, press, and get the Kickstarter community engaged (as we really couldn't have done it without ALL of you)!
