Support the production of an original African dance performance by New Orleans youth in Los Angeles this summer.
Last month, dancers from our Big Easy Award nominated dance program at Woodmere Elementary gave a special performance for Hollywood director and choreographer Adam Shankman. Mr. Shankman, whose Dizzy Feet Foundation funds after school dance programs.

The Young Audiences dancers so impressed our guest that he has invited these talented young students to come to Los Angeles and perform an original African dance piece at the Dizzy Feet’s annual gala and dance festival at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. This prestigious event has previously featured scholarship recipients from Julliard, Alvin Ailey and American Ballet Theater, as well as standouts from So You Think You Can Dance.
Imagine how proud we are that Young Audiences’ outstanding dance instructors and students have been recognized for their excellence. Imagine what a life changing experience this opportunity could be for students. Then imagine what it would be like if we did not do everything in our power to help them go.
