Satyam Vol.1
My brother and I have longed to tell stories since we were very young. Even as children we wrote books, made films (mostly Lego stop motion) and going as far as building our own theatre using K'nect toy pieces with an art projector, playing endless rolls of taped paper film...Since then we have grown and so has our story telling...Through out the years of finding our own paths in expression, we always come back meeting in the middle...Taking what we have learned as individuals and applying it to find other ways of telling our stories together...music, film, dance and so on...but here and now...in this moment...
We are going to tell you our stories in ink and words...side by side...in this book of moments. -Bash

Words from Bash about his ink and the beginning of his journey.
Know the beginning of my ink and you will know where this book began.
The year was 1990 when I entered this world. I was raised to be a gentle man, respect others, respect the earth and to never leave creativity’s side. A Son of beautiful minds and GrandSon to beautiful artists…through out my life it was this union of teachings that has made me the young man I am in this moment…
With the blood of all that came before me running through my veins, I bring to you a new-old world through the eyes of the unseen.
Satyam is the sanskrit word for truth and I express my true self through my ink.
I am called Bash, 22 years of age, I am not only an artist but a musician and wellness practitioner as well. Vision impaired and legally blind by medical standards. The way I see somewhat resembles a painting of impressionistic style, looking at things as a whole picture is blurred and unclear, so I tend to focus on detail.
My Ink journey began January 3rd, 2011 following the passing of my beloved Mentor in all that was creating..I had not only lost a mentor that day but my beautiful Nana as well.
Using the one thing I knew could truly feel “music” I took the nibs and pens from my calligraphy set, laid down parchment and began to freehand to this world you can see only in images…
Every Ink piece is freehanded to a worldwide range of music, I am a perfectionist, and in this way of expressing, I can escape…
I was very quiet as a child, I began to lose my self in the moment of creation. the ability to bring my thoughts to life with drawings and crafts without words….it would not be long before this lead to a passion that I still very much so hold onto today…now, a less quiet (but still pretty quiet) young man, I am able to tap deeper into this world I am connected to.
My craft is creation, it is not limited by the means of a specific medium. I am in constant change and therefore my art is as well…
“If art is my expression, then I have a passion, for sharing my perception”

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Our biggest risk is not making deadline for printing...however, my brother and I are very thorough and take our projects very seriously, ironing out all the details to avoid hick ups.
As far as completion of the book, there is not many challenges left since the book will be finished in a couple weeks!
and getting the word out giving people that chance to come into our world..
