Susan Berkowitz is an award winning Fine Artist, whose artistic process focus’s on alternative photography methods, Dry Polaroid Transfers, Polaroid Emulsion Lift Off Transfers, and Gel Transfers
Originally from the East Coast, Berkowitz relocated to Los Angeles, California 5 years ago. Prior to her move to Los Angeles, Berkowitz resided in several states throughout the country as well as Florence, Italy. During her travels she completed her studies, explored other cultures, worked with children with special needs, and created and exhibited her art.
Berkowitz’s degrees are the following: The Corcoran School of Art, Washington, DC Bachelor of Fine Arts/Photography- 1995, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond Virginia and Lorenzo Di’ Medici School of Art, Florence, Italy: Master of Fine Art/ Photography-1999, Rio Salado College, Tempe, Arizona-2005 certification in special education-cross category.
