I sent one of these updates awhile ago, asking for updated addresses. I got about 5 emails, which means there are a bunch of people who didn't respond. Please take a minute to at least let us know if your address is different from the time you donated or not. The info we have on everyone is 2011 so it's very possible most people are in different places. My goal is to not send a bunch of prints out to potentially incorrect addresses which is of course a waste of money.

The coffee table book is taking a bit longer simply because we just want it to be awesome, aside from the photos taken during filming I want to shoot a few new things. Ideally it will be out this yr, but no official date. Just know that the time being taken is to ensure quality. Hope all is well with everyone, peace!

The autographed sketches we promised are in and we are ready to ship them out, just to be safe though, if you were supposed to get a sketch send an email to coloroutsidethelinesfilm@gmail.com with your address so that we can be sure to send it to the right place. It's been a little over a year since this campaign started and I'm sure some addresses have changed.

I know it took a while but these things are worth it!

It's 3 months later since the film has been released, I know a lot of folks simply follow us on twitter, so some of this may not be news but for those who don't just wanted to update you on a few things

1: We've sent out the complimentary DVDs and if you have a a DVD period or have seen the film you know your name is in the credits somewhere. That leaves sketches that we have to send out, a coffee table book to finish and some folks who may still be getting tattoos or paintings.

We are preparing the to print out a the autographed sketches this month, so we actually will be look to send those out next month as soon as we get a quote on printing we like.

The coffee table book is in the editing stages, choosing photos and doing the layout so thats a bit down the line. We orginally wanted to get it out next month but it may be a couple months after that, will keep you posted.

To my understanding the people who were supposed to get tattoos from Miya, some have, if not call Samba at City of Ink and specify that you are a kickstarter donor and we will get that worked out. Or if you are someone interested in a painting over a tattoo, contact me about it.

2. The release of the film has been going well, we are touching a lot of people and opportunities are arising because of our choice to self distribute. Urban Ink featured the film in about 75% of their new issue and we have another feature in Skin Art magazine coming up.

3. On Nov 8-11 we are going to be screening at the Bronze Lens Film Festival, still waiting on an exact date, but we shall be there. It is here in Atlanta. We are also planning a screening at F.I.T. in NYC at the end of November, once we see how that goes perhaps a college tour will be in the works.

Aside from that we are just keeping it moving, grassroots style. Thanks again for everyone's support.

Hey guys, the screening is 5 days away and I'm checking off names to see who is going to be there and who I need to have dvds for. I'm going to type this next sentence big as hell so just imagine I'm saying it real slow, not yelling. I'm doing this because we are not trying to have door drama because people don't follow instructions.

IF YOUR NAME IS NOT IN THIS UPDATE AND YOU ARE GOING TO BE AT THE SCREENING CONTACT ME BY TUESDAY SO I CAN MAKE SURE A DVD IS AT THE DOOR FOR THOSE WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO GET AN ADVANCE COPY, OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE NOTHING THERE AND YOU WILL GET IT IN THE MAIL. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS HERE DON'T GO TALKING BAD ABOUT US.

These people are in the $50-$100 tier which gets you an advance copy among other things, but we are worrying about the dvds right now. You still have to buy a ticket if you havent already:

Would love to see as many of you as possible there. Those of you who live in Atlanta and qualify to get into the screening for free, I will be sending a separate email to you.
