This documentary is the brainchild and a fun 5 year endeavor of two Arrested Development superfans, Jeff and Neil! Hi there! We have been fans of the show since it was on Fox. To our dismay, it was stripped off the air. We turned to the DVDs to get our AD fix and became even more in awe with the show. When the show was picked up by G4 and HD Net, there was no end to re-watching episodes and finding new little comedy treasures.
The overall goal of this documentary is to provide awareness of this brilliant, witty and original comedy that is like nothing else. We started by reaching out to Arrested fans on social networks, and the response was encouraging. We interviewed Arrested fans in and around Los Angeles, where we live. Then we were off to San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix (even though Lucille "would rather be dead in California, than alive in Arizona”) and Dallas. We headed Eastward to Omaha, Kansas City, Detroit, New York City, Boston (home of the first analyst-therapist), then Raleigh/Durham. We even visited "wee" London, Ontario. Finally, we went back to Los Angeles for interviews with the cast, crew and other industry players to find out the story behind the story of Arrested.

After five years, we’re finally close to releasing the documentary. Our final step is to pay the network for photos from the set of the show. These photos are extremely relevant to the story, and we can’t move forward with the release of the documentary until our fees are paid to the network. This is where you come in. Help us pay the network fees so every Arrested fan can see this documentary!

- Distribution schedule not finalized for digital download, but Kickstarter backers that choose a rewards package containing the digital download will receive it within days of the world premiere.
- DVD/Blu-ray version will be released at a later date than the digital version, and the distribution schedule is not yet finalized.
- Travel, lodging and transportation is not included in any reward bundle
- Must be over 18 or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to attend events (premiere, premiere gala)
- Some rewards may require additional paperwork (to protect us and you)

The documentary is 100% completed and wrapped. We just need to pay licensing fees for photos.

We estimate that the digital download will be available in May 2013, and the DVD/blu-ray version in June. Distribution has not yet been finalized, so these dates are subject to change.
